How to Obtain an RCMP Criminal Background Check from VietNam
In Surrey, Surrey Fingerprinting Services is a leading RCMP-accredited fingerprint agency that serves thousands of people with fingerprinting inquiries. In addition to serving domestic applicants in person at our office, we also assist many customers through our International Fingerprinting Service.
The International Fingerprinting Service is designed for applicants residing in Vietnam who need to obtain a Canadian Criminal Record Check (CCRC). This check is required for various applications if an applicant has lived in Canada for more than six months. Employment, travel, immigration to Canada, and other countries are common reasons people seek the CCRC while living abroad.
Using our RCMP-certified system, we can digitize and submit fingerprints from Vietnam to the RCMP on our customers' behalf, helping them save time and receive results as quickly as possible.

Get hardcopy fingerprints taken by your local police or a fingerprinting agency *
* Not sure where to go for fingerprinting?
Visit us in person at Surrey Fingerprint Services, or contact your local police service, a notary public office, or the nearest Canadian Embassy for assistance.
- We accept certified print-outs from electronic fingerprinting devices, as well as traditional ink fingerprints.
- We accept the RCMP C-216C fingerprint form, the FBI FD-258 fingerprint form, and foreign fingerprint forms (provided all ten fingerprint impressions appear on the same side of the page).
- Traditional ink fingerprints must be taken with black ink.
- The fingerprint form must include your name, date of birth, and signature.
- The fingerprint form should include the stamp or seal of the police service or fingerprinting agency. If a stamp or seal is not available, please provide a payment receipt along with the provider's business card.
- If you are concerned about the quality of your fingerprints, please provide us with two original fingerprint forms.

- If mailing your fingerprints to us rather than dropping them off in person, describe the contents of your shipment as 'Documents — No Commercial Value.'
- Declare the value of your shipment as $0, or $1 if a value is required by your courier.
