Ink Fingerprinting

What is Ink & Roll Fingerprinting?

  • Ink & roll is the traditional method of capturing fingerprints for criminal record searches or police certificates.
  • In Canada, this method has mostly been replaced by digital or electronic fingerprinting.
  • Some foreign countries still require fingerprints to be captured using actual ink for their criminal background checks.
