How to Obtain an RCMP Criminal Background Check from China
In Surrey, Surrey Fingerprinting Services is a leading RCMP-accredited fingerprint agency that assists thousands of people with their fingerprinting needs. Our International Fingerprinting Service is designed for applicants residing in China who need to obtain a Canadian Criminal Record Check (CCRC). This check is often required for various applications if an applicant has lived in Canada for more than six months. Employment, travel, and immigration to Canada and other countries are among the top reasons people seek the CCRC while living abroad.
With our RCMP-certified system, we can digitize and submit fingerprints from China to the RCMP on our customers’ behalf, allowing them to save time and receive results as quickly as possible.

Procedure
- CLICK HERE to complete the fingerprint request form.
- Check your email for instructions on how to fill out all other required forms. Afterward, have your fingerprints taken in your country of residence. ***Refer to the provided samples, and consider obtaining several fingerprint sets to increase the likelihood of acceptance.
- Email us at global@surreyfingerprintservices.com. In your email, please attach all the completed documents, including scanned fingerprint cards. ***Please scan them at the highest possible quality before emailing them to us. ***Some police departments may send the fingerprint card directly to us. If the quality does not meet our standards, we may need to request that you redo the fingerprints and mail them to us again.
- We will reply to your email within 48 business hours to provide a preliminary review of your documents, ensuring their quality and completeness BEFORE you mail them to us.
- Send all documents via registered mail (not email) or, preferably, by courier (FedEx, UPS, DHL…) to our Global Department: Surrey Fingerprinting Services

- The RCMP will process your application and mail the Certified Criminal Record Check to the address of your choice** via Canada Post regular mail.
*We will send you an invoice once we are ready to process your fingerprints.
You can make the payment by credit card via the online payment platform integrated into the invoice, or by e-transfer if you have an eligible Canadian bank card.
Alternatively, we also accept in-person payments during our business hours.
**The RCMP only mails to Canadian or U.S. addresses. Surrey Fingerprinting Services can receive the results and forward them to your address outside Canada for an additional mailing fee (depending on the courier cost).
