Fingerprint Card
What is the Difference Between the FBI (FD-258/FD-1164) and C216C Fingerprint Cards?
The FBI standard fingerprint forms, FD-258 and FD-1164, are primarily used to obtain a Police Certificate from the United States.
On the other hand, the RCMP-certified C216C fingerprint form is typically used for obtaining police clearance in countries other than the United States.
Note: Some countries may require their own specific fingerprint card. In such cases, you may need to use our ink-and-roll service to capture your fingerprints with actual ink.
You require a Criminal Record Check from the FBI or a foreign country.
Your fingerprints will be captured electronically using the Livescan system and then printed on the appropriate form: FD-258/FD-1164 for the FBI or C216C for other countries. The completed fingerprint cards will be provided to you.
Livescan ensures the highest possible quality of fingerprints, superior to traditional ink-based methods.
